Drama for Grown-Ups

Suitable for adults of all levels! Perfect for anyone who wants to explore their inner creativity through performance.

Using a combination of improv and scripts from comedic and dramatic plays, participants will work in small groups on scene study, creating characters and learning how to put those characters on stage.

Skills that will be developed: Characterization, interpretation of text, stagecraft.

Dramatic Play

An introduction to performance for young creatives. (Ages 6-8)

This class will spark the imaginations of younger students through creative movement, character discovery, and storytelling. Children will be made to feel comfortable interacting with others while gaining confidence in themselves and having fun! 

Skills that will be developed: Confidence, creativity, play, imagination, storytelling.

Sing Out - For Adults!

An introduction to singing for adults of all ages.

For adults who have always wanted to sing, but aren't sure where to start. Using voice techniques and popular songs, students will learn the basics of singing and start to hone their vocal instrument.

Skills that will be developed: Confidence, creativity, vocal technique.

Funprov! (Improvisational Acting) 

For youth who like to play games and laugh as they create. (Ages 9-12)

Using improvisational games and techniques, students will learn how to create something from nothing and find the funny in every moment. In alow-stakes, friendly competitive improv based format, participants will learn a variety of games on opposing teams which will be used to perform scenes.

Skills that will be developed: Confidence, creativity, teamwork.

Sing Out - For Youth!

 Advanced Acting

For youth looking to enhance their performance skills. (Ages 14-18)

For youth looking to enhance their performance skills. With specialized training, participants will explore different areas of focus within dramatic performance (comedic as well as dramatic theatrical and film scene study + monologues) in a collaborative and safe environment.

Skills that will be developed: Group collaboration and creation, scene study, character exploration, stage mechanics, grounded performance.

Musical Theatre

For kids who love to sing and dance their way through life! (Ages 8+)

Using popular songs from some of their favourite musicals, participants will learn a song, along side a simple routine and explore new performance techniques! With the emphasis on enthusiastic performance rather than pitch perfection, this is the perfect class for performers who want to have FUN!

Skills that will be developed: Stage presence, vocal technique, learning simple choreography.

Dramatic Performance

An exploration of performance for beginners. (Ages 9-13)

Through simple scripts, this class will explore the fundamentals of theatrical performance including creative movement, character development, and collaborative storytelling. Children will learn basic theatre terminology, build up their stage presence, and gain skills needed for more advanced performance levels.

Skills that will be developed: Confidence, creativity, stage presence, script reading, character development.
